I downloaded a network marketing crash course on mp3 files in which the author talked about lead generation and what it takes to attract new leads on a regular basis. The key point that stood out is that no matter how you choose to market your business, you have to be consistent about it. If you stop marketing, you stop getting customers and you stop getting leads.
How Often Should You Market Your Business?
I do something almost every day to market my business. My favorite form of marketing is of course the internet. I use my blog, videos, articles and more to keep a constant flow of traffic to my web site on a daily basis. It's not difficult work but it needs to be done regularly if I want to keep making progress.
I try to blog at least 3 or 4 times a week. I write articles as often as I can, sometimes 2 per day when I get into the flow of things. Videos take a little more work. Even if you choose to market offline, there needs to be consistency there as well. Most network marketing training says to contact at least two people a day. If that is your strategy then stick to it and make sure you are doing it every day.
The Biggest Mistake Network Marketers Can Make
One thing that can slow progress and worse, cause a lot of network marketers to quit is treating their business like a hobby. If the only time you spend on your business is when you feel like it or out of boredom, chances are you won't get very far. Even those who only strive to earn a few hundred dollars a month have to put in the work. You may even surprise yourself at what you achieve if you change from the attitude of hobby to business.
